Shockwave is a cross of Shakti × Lightwave. Shakti is an albino Malabar isolation by MycoMama Angela and her husband, selected for its pale, leucistic Malabar phenotype, while Lightwave is a cubensis cultivar in the Lightwave lineage.

Shockwave combines these two lines and is maintained as a blob / mutated mass phenotype within the Shakti × Lightwave cross. The referenced expression displays a large, ruffled, coral-like white and blue-toned mass without distinct caps and stems.
