Blue Umbo is an albino isolation of Yellow Umbo (Jack Frost x P. natalensis). Isolated by Yoshi Amano. Named for it blue “nipple” tip, otherwise known as the umbo of the mushroom cap. Unlike Yellow Umbo, Blue Umbo is albino, so it ejects no spores. Sometimes a blue bullseye is visible on the top of the caps.
