Leucistic Hillbilly is an isolation of Hillbilly. Hillbilly has been a popular mushroom among cultivators since the 1990s. It was introduced to the Mycotopia forum by a user known as “Hillbilly”. Hillbilly claimed to have foraged these mushrooms in rural Arkansas.

Leucistic Hillbilly has large thick caps that can fill a tub. Their ability to produce full canopies and contamination resistance make them a favorite among growers.
