Natal Super Strength was discovered in 1995 in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa by Jon McGillivray.
It was initially believed to be a new strain of Psilocybe, but genetic analysis revealed that it was a phenotype of P. cubensis (still debated to this day). “Natal Super Strength” has a very fast and dense growth pattern, with long stipes that turn blue when touched and caps that vary from white to light brown.
