Thai Elephant Gate, also known as “Thai Elephant Dung” is a cubensis first discovered by explorer and mycologist, John Allen. The first fruits of this variety were found growing in elephant dung patties on the island of Koh Samui, Thailand. This particular culture of Thai Elephant Gate was stabilized by Dave Wombat to produce big brown cap fruits with thick stipes.
